A  magic  wish

教学目标：

1.能听得懂、会读、会说kitchen,rice,food,give,kind,feather,blow hard,come true,rain,cook a large meal. May I have …？I haven’t got any ….

2.能通过阅读文本，观察图片，合作表演，谈论对话等方式读懂绘本，抓住其主要信息。

3.能在读懂绘本的基础上，进行大胆的猜测，推测，想象和评价，积极表达自己的观点。

教学过程：

Step 1 Greetings

T: Hi, boys and girls. I’m Wendy. I'm your new English teacher today. Do you want to know more about me? Please listen and judge.

1. I like English.

2.I like fruit.

3. I can see English songs.

4. I can read.

5. I like reading picture books.

6. I have a picture book today.

Step 2 While-reading.

T: Would you like to read it? Let's have a look at the cover. What can you see on the cover?

S: I can see a woman and a girl.

 I can see a title.

T:It’s a story about a magic wish.(揭题)

They are Helen and her mother.(黑板贴人物头像)

2. T:Helen and her mother are in the kitchen.

T: what can you see from the picture?(观察图片，尽情回答)

S：I can see some fruit.

   I can see mother is sad.

I can see ....

T:Mother is not happy.

She says:“Helen，I haven’t got any rice or fish for lunch.I can only give you some fruit.”

It means I have no rice or fish.

3 Read Mother’s words.

Tip:读出妈妈难过的语气哦！

4. T：So Mother has a wish.

What wish is it?Can you guess?

S:She would like....

5. Listen and answer.

Does mother’s wish come true at last?

6. Read P3-P18 and order

 T: Can you help me put the sentences in a right order?

7. T: The woman says“You are a very kind girl.”

 She is very kind.

T: So she gets a feather from the old woman. What can the feather do?

S: It can make a wish.

T: How to make the wish come true?

The old woman teaches Helen how to do it.
