Lead in

1. Play a video about ‘Good manners’.

2. Ask students to retell as many  good manners as possible.

Watch the video and say something  about it.

通过观看文明行为视频，让学生了解一些关于英文的礼貌用语，养成文明好习惯。

 Block 1

To be a civilized man

1.Show pictures and ask students to speak out eight main manners， learn some new words and phrases.

Speak out some manners and learn some new words and phrases.

设置看图活动，帮助学生学习八礼，通过图片直观地了解礼仪，激发兴趣并把新的生词放到情境中教学。

Block 2 

To be a wise judge 

1.Show more pictures of different behaviors.

2.Help  students judge people’s behavior and tell the right ways.

3.guide students conclude good manners and bad manners.

1.Look at the pictures and talk about them. 

2.Judge these people’s   behavior whether they behave politely                   or not .If they behave improperly, please tell the right ways .

3.Speak out what  good manners and bad manners are.

让学生判断文明与不文明行为，培养他们的是非观。

利用对话形式讨论教材图片，学习公共场合的礼仪，输入对话短语和句型，为后面的两人讨论做好铺垫

Show pictures and learn about the public signs.

Learn about different public signs ,the meanings of them and where to see them.

1.Show the dialogue and ask students to write down the answers.

2.Ask students to read together.

设计表格，引导学生带着问题去听对话，了解图书馆行为规范。前面环节的铺垫降低了本部分填表的难度，学生比较容易得出答案。

Ask students to make a similar dialogue.

Work in pairs and make a dialogue.

两人讨论公共场所的文明与不文明行为，鼓励学生用本节课所学的句型编造对话，既巩固了本课的重点句型，又锻炼了口头表达能力。

Ask students to tell something about manners in different places or countries.

Prepare in groups and try to speak out.
