中考英语复习对学生来说是英语学习的一项十分重要的工作。对教师而言，它是对初中三年的教学进行反思和总结，找出教学的盲点和弱点，并实施有效的解决策略的过程。对于在复习过程中学生出现的问题老师应给予足够的关注。

我在复习过程中发现学生对until一词的用法错误较多，而until一词在中考英语试卷中出现频率较高，且not...until又是一个重点结构，同学们必须熟练掌握其用法。于是对until这一词做了一番归纳：

一、从结构上讲，until可与表示时间或地点的词连用。例如：
　　①He worked until midnight.
　　②The boy didn’t go to bed until his father came back.
　　③Go along this street until the bridge, you’ll see the hospital.

二、从词性上讲，until可作介词或连词。例如：
　　①Most of the shops are not open until nine o’clock.（作介词）
　　②He didn’t wake up until the class was over.（作连词）
三、从句型上讲，until可用于肯定句，也可用于否定句。
　　1. 用于肯定句，表示主句动作或状态结束。例如：
　　①The woman worked in the factory until 2000.（表示在2000年时“work”这个动作结束）
　　②He had been in Jiangsu for twenty years until he moved to Beijing.（表示他在江苏居住了20年后，搬到北京）
　　2.用于否定句，构成not...until结构，表示主句动作才开始。例如：
　　①He didn’t go to bed until the TV play was over.（当电视剧结束时，“上床睡觉”这个动作才开始）
　　②Thestudentwon’tgohomeuntilhe finishes his homework.（只有当他完成作业时，“回家”这个动作才开始）

    在详细讲解后给出了历年的中考题，让学生当堂练习。
